So here I am in sunny San Diego with my 24 new friends! We seem to come from all walks of life but find the common love of biking. Picked up my Forever Flyer today and it felt good to be back on it. I must say I felt very uncomfortable with the shifting of gears since I have less than 500 miles on my new bike. I suspect tomorrow I will be a bit apprehensive about shifting.
Looking forward to dipping my back tires in the Pacific Ocean and heading out on my adventure. We climb almost 2000 feet tomorrow.
