No Mountains!!!! Flash floods and freezing cold!
What did I learn today??? If you don't put the battery in your camera you can't take pictures! So I will describe it....did see some very beautiful canyons that lasted for about 10 miles. We didn't climb any mountains (hills - a few) and lots of flat road. However, 40-50 degrees with constant rain did make for a challenge. Several roads/parking lots had flash flooding - they were putting up road signs to warn people. Went through part of Yuha Desert.....but it even rained there! A short portion of the ride was closed due to high winds, rain and steep decline. The hotel tonight is a highlight of the day....beautiful rooms and I even used the hot tub. The weather says no rain and 70 ish tomorrow! Talk to you tomorrow!

Even in the rain, it sounds like you enjoyed your self. Keep up the great work! It was cloudy here, but no rain during the day. Love you! Sharon
ReplyDeleteI love that you always seem to find the positive in the day! Hopefully that hot tub felt good. At least you didn't forget the batteries in the camera on a beautiful sunny day - you will be sure to remember it tomorrow! Think of you often!
