Picturesque Pilgrimage to Phoenix!

Jeannie Bohrman meets me in Phoenix! What a wonderful treat to see her.
Back in the saddle again! There wasn't one inch of the 67 miles that wasn't breathtaking! 99% of the time it was the scenery, 1% of the time it was the traffic that took my breath away! The Arizona desert appears to be green and lush due to all the rain. Cacti for as far as the eye can see! It was a perfect day - with approximately 30 miles of quite bumpy, debris filled wide shoulder state highway and 30 miles of quite smooth wonderful shoulder!

One of our climbs today - none were too tough...or maybe I'm just getting to be a good rider? By the way, did I tell you I was the 6th rider in today - but then who is counting! Tell you why later.

Favorite view today....climbing up a mountain side and what do we hear but baa, baa and there are probably 100-200 sheep grazing on the mountainside. For me, it was a wonderful sight.

Who is lovelier....the Cati or the bikers?
(back row - middle one)

Just another beautiful view! Oh, the reason I was rider #6 instead of 23 is because Beast (Bohrman) was meeting me at the hotel! If each of you would take one day to meet me I would bike faster!! Three of the four low riders were meeting friends so we weren't the last to leave the hotel this morning. Wonders never cease!
