This is what I signed up for! (Wednesday)

Crossing the Arizona State Line! (I'm 2nd from rt) Seven states to go!
How many bikers and how much time does it take to change a tire on Interstate 10?

One of the lovely views in Arizona

Today felt like "This is what I signed up for!" We enjoyed flowers, cotton (yes, AZ grows cotton), cacti, and the mountains as we traveled 30 miles on Interstate 10, leaving California behind us and entering Arizona! The next 34 miles was varying terrain, four flat tires (not me), and simply a wonderful ride. The weather was in the 60's - perfect day!

Our hotel for the night is “off the charts” on the star rating system….unfortunately, it’s below the charts - we lovingly call it "The Bait Motel". Many of us have single rooms....Kirby (Chicago) and I fear the Ax Murderer is out tonight so we are sleeping together in a single room. There is safety in numbers - ya know!
Words of Wisdom for the day from Miss Kitty: "You only ever grow as a human being if you're outside of your comfort zone." Kirby and I decided staying at the Bait Hotel was definitely out of our comfort zone...we grew in leaps and bounds tonight!

  3. I wanted to see a picture of the Bait Motel to see if it is really as bad as you claim it is! Seems like you are having such a good time - we check the blog everyday! Tamie
